Gymnastic Federation of Šibenik-Knin County Partners in Erasmus+ “NextGen – Digitalization in Sport Organisations” Project

We are thrilled to announce that our Erasmus+ project, “NextGen – Digitalization in Sport Organisations,” has been officially selected for funding! This exciting project aims to enhance the digital competencies of sports organisations across Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia, ushering in a new era of innovation and collaboration within the sports sector.

The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically impacted sports organisations worldwide, underscoring the critical need for digital transformation and the development of modern digital skills. In response, the NextGen project brings together four partner organisations from different countries, each contributing unique expertise in sports development, management, and digital transformation.

The NextGen project will empower sports organisations to:

• Collaborate on an international scale, exchanging best practices and learning from each other.

• Establish connections with IT companies to integrate digital technologies into their everyday operations.

• Enhance their digital preparedness, resilience, and capacity to adapt to crises and evolving conditions.

• Promote digital education, training, and skills development among their staff and members.

This groundbreaking initiative will pave the way for sports organisations to thrive in a digital future, ensuring long-term growth, sustainability, and innovation.
